Growing Up
Sekhmet was raised as part of an experimental cohort of children who received cybernetic implants to compensate for a neurological condition. The experiment was not a complete cure but gave her a very different set of skills compared to other children.

Setting Out
Sekhmet received a college education but underperformed compared to expectations. She developed a fixation on orbital mechanics, a branch of physics considered largely solved by her university. During this time she developed a rich network of friends and lovers.

Crisis
Near the end of her education, an epidemic swept the cluster. Augmented humans were especially affected. Sekhmet was lucky to still live on Curiosity. Some of her classmates and members of her childhood cohort were less lucky and did not receive treatment in time. The experience radicalized her wrt health care access.

Drift
Sekhmet joined the Curiosity Medical Service as a navigator and analyst. During the Folly civil war, she participated in the rescue mission to save Lakeshi's crew. It became an important case study for her. She gained a reputation for her skills at navigation and logistics.

Now
Sekhmet was one of the top picks for the Rapid Medical Transport project trials. She is highly respected for her ability to quickly analyze mission needs and find solutions.
